Serta Mattress Protector

Ever since I met Charlie one of the first things I realized was that he is basically impossible to buy gifts for. My reasoning is because 1) he buys himself whatever he wants or needs and 2) he has EVERYTHING…oh and 3) everything he wants is expensive lol. If I asked him what the top gift he wanted for Christmas would be his answer would be something like…well I really want the new 2013 Land Rover Range Rover – in white. Haha I’m just kidding he wouldn’t ask for that but he’s a LR lover and I will some day buy him one to add to his collection!

This year I knew he needed things for the house so I listened carefully to hints he would drop. For example, he mentioned us needing oven mitts and pot holders, so I went to Williams-Sonoma and got some in black. He wanted a new cutting board and something to cook food in for the new oven, so I went and got both, and may I please add that the cutting board is frickin sweet! It has grippers on the corners and it’s wood 🙂 I think I did a good job with that one. I got him a bunch more random things for the house, Xmas PJ’s and a stocking full of goodies, but the one gift that actually took a week for me to find was the mattress protector. He kept repeating he wanted a mattress cover for the new king size mattress he got, so I decided to find a good one. It’s actually kind of hard to find a good mattress protector. I ended up finding a Serta one, waterproof just like he wanted! Score! He loved it and put it on ASAP.

It makes the bed even comfier! And it’s the same brand as the mattress 🙂
