DIY First Birthday Poster

I wanted to share a poster I made for my nephew’s first birthday last week! It took me about 2 hours to do and less than $10 for supplies.

What I used to complete this project:

– A pack of paint markers (it came with 5 colors, and I used every color except yellow only because it looked like highlighter yellow. The pack was about $6)

– Black foam board or poster board (I used a poster board, but wanted foam board. I got this at Target for less than $2 and they did not have any black foam board. Boo!)

Obviously all you need to do is fill in your little ones name and some fun facts about them and voila! You have yourself an adorable poster to display at their first birthday party! This poster was a hit, everyone loved it! My only word of advice – practice with the paint markers first. They can be pretty messy at times, and I smudged a couple times and attempted to fix it.
