For the baby shower I also decided it would be fun to make candy sushi! I’ve seen pictures before, so I wanted to try. The theme of the shower was Asian kind of, with different types of foods like spring rolls, dumplings, crab rangoon, asian noodles, edamame and chicken teriyaki skewers. So of course at least one of the desserts/sweets should stick to the Asian theme: CANDY SUSHI! Yummy. It was super easy to make these, just time consuming because I wanted them perfect. I didn’t make my own rice krispies, I cheated and bought them, just formed them into the shapes I wanted. For the round circle “sushi”, I used a roller. By looking at the pictures you should get the gist of how I made them.

A closer look. The “seaweed” is the fruit roll ups, the “fish” are the swedish fish (obvi) and the “rice” are the krispies of course.
The sweets table at the baby shower…
It was a beautiful shower and we can’t wait for our nephew to make his appearance already!
This is so adorable!
Thank you so much Randy!
