Hello and happy hump day! I thought I would share what our Fall mantel is looking like this year, because I’ve been slowly collecting things from Home Goods, Target and Michael’s and putting our mantel together. Normally I wouldn’t really care that much about it, but our mantel is the first thing you see when you walk into our home and I typically like it to look a bit put together. Nothing crazy fancy, but cute (in our opinions!). I normally would like everything white or neutral on the mantel, but since our entire fireplace is already white we added some color. So take a look!
Here’s a full view, scroll down for more detailed photos, where I got each item and how much it was. Oh and notice how tiny our fireplace opening actually is. We got the fireplace cover at Target on sale for $25 last year and when we got home realized how much wider it was than the fireplace. But hey, it’s hard to find a good quality fireplace cover at an awesome price so we left it.
First up, my “FALL” mason jars! I totally DIYed these in September and posted about it here. This project was a total of about $10.
I adore our “Give Thanks” candle holder. It’s made from wood and has a pretty good weight to it. We got this last Fall at Home Goods for $10 – plus, I turn it around during the rest of the year so the “Give Thanks” is hidden and it’s just a white background.
My little gold and white pumpkins! I love these! I threw these in a vase and added some LED lights. The pumpkins are from Home Goods and they were less than $8.
I always have some of my Etsy shop printables framed on the mantel, and this year we’ve got my Fall Typography printable (Since framing this one, I made some changes to the printable in my shop, but it’s still extremely similar and adorbs!). In the center, I have an important dates printable with our “dating” anniversary and our engagement date.
And all the way to the right I have my “Give Thanks” printable. Again, I made a font change to this printable in my shop, but it’s still equally awesome! The candle is called “Roasted Spice” and is from Home Goods for $5. Love the scent – smells exactly like Fall!
I got this framed mirror from Home Goods the other day on sale for $9! Yes, you read that right! It’s decent sized and I think it’s the perfect addition to the wall.
I love this vase decor I picked up at Home Goods, the same day I found the mirror above. This bouquet was $5 on sale and it has an awesome fall scent. The vase it’s in is also from Home Goods. We got this a year or 2 ago for probably about $20. Can you tell we have a Home Goods addiction problem?
Yes, you most likely already guessed it. The basket is also from Home Goods. I think this one was $7.99 – I also got a larger one for $9.99 that says “Gratitude”. I use this one for magazines and books, I use the larger ones for toys for our niece and nephew when they come over to play.
And another view of it all! It’s cute, affordable and grabs the attention of guests right away. Love. It.
Hope everyone is having a fantastic week. If you have any mantel projects send me some links – I love to look at other people’s mantels! Yes, I am that weirdo.
