Here in NY, the past few days we have gotten lots of snow. I’d say about altogether 12 inches, maybe more. Family from out of town is here visiting for Christmas, and we woke up this morning to MORE SNOW. Yuck! Charlie loves the snow, but he also has 2 cars with 4WD, and the new car that I’m driving does not lol. I would usually drive one of the trucks but I had no idea I would be waking up to a lot more snow. I stayed at my Mom’s last night, so now I’m here all day because I’m too scared to drive. I wanted to start working on my office today!! I guess I’ll have to put it off until tomorrow, but I thought I’d make an updated post on what we plan to get done this week. Last week Charlie spent most of his time insulating the house and sealing the drafts from all the windows. He’s becoming such a do-it-yourself-er 🙂
Tomorrow I want to tape off the stripes for the office (painting thick stripes in there), then start painting by Monday or Tuesday, because I have a feeling the taping is going to take a lot longer than I want. Ugh! So in my perfect world the painting will be done by Wednesday. Cross your fingers for me! We got gift cards galore to our new favorite store for Christmas. Not sure if you’ve heard of it, but it’s a little place called Lowe’s. This week I would love to decide on a new DIY project for the house and get some supplies there, if I ever get out of this snow that is. Oh oh, Charlie and his brother also picked up the entertainment center we got from Home Goods! Once we put it where we want it, I’ll put up pictures. It’s awesome. So many things planned for this week, I don’t want to spoil them all 🙂
