Ok so as I’ve mentioned previously, I LOVE Pinterest. It’s like a playground for me, and I’m able to get inspiration for the new house and see what types of DIY projects people are creating. I was on Pinterest earlier and found a bunch of things I would totally try to create, and all are inexpensive! Take a look at what I found today:
For this project, you take a piece of Styrofoam insulation, wrap in fabric and staple to the back of the Styrofoam. Simple, affordable and extremely cute for any room in a house!

This next one seems a little more complex, but I think I’d be up for the challenge. You use cork board, embroidery floss, linoleum nails, hot glue, velcro wall strips, paint and duck tape. Click the link for the full tutorial, I feel like I may confuse you if I try to fully explain without all the photos lol. The end result is fantastic!

String Art
For this one, you take coffee stirrers (take them or buy them), cheap wooden frames from Michael’s craft store, some paint, glue and voila! You have awesome new and colorful artwork for your living room or bedroom. Or whatever room you want!

For this one, you take a cheap painting, or just a painting in general that you don’t mind using, vinyl letters and paint (or spray paint). Write your favorite quote or lyrics using the letters, paint over the entire painting, peel off letters, then enjoy your very own lyric art! Seriously cool idea.
