I saw this recipe on Pinterest months ago and pinned it along with lots of other recipes I someday will get around to trying. Well, this afternoon I was thinking of what to make for dinner and randomly remembered this recipe! I really wanted to try it, so I did and it’s awesome! And Charlie loved it too, so even better! I think this would also be great in a crock pot for 4-5 hours.
First, I bought some fresh red potatoes and green beans. You’ll also need a packet of Italian seasoning dressing. We used 2 medium sized chicken breasts.
Then, cut up the beans and potatoes, and then put potatoes on one side of pan, beans on the other and chicken in the middle. Cut up a stick of butter into chunks (I used half a stick), and then place the chunks on top of each. Then pour the Italian seasoning packet on top. I had some extra potatoes so I put them in another casserole dish to cook, doing the same with some butter and Italian seasoning.
Stick in the oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour and voila! Yumminess!
This meal is seriously really good and is definitely a keeper now 🙂 The chicken was cooked perfectly and the beans and potatoes were soft and delicious, just how I like em.
