This post is not home design, decor or DIY related in any way, but I just edited a bunch of pictures from the cruise we went on in November and am so excited about how they turned out I just had to share. We left NYC on November 4th and for 11 whole days we were out of the US and in the Caribbean! Heaven!
It was the most amazing, beautiful vacation ever. We loved it so much we decided to book another cruise for October on a brand new and bigger ship! Since that’s still a while away, I can day dream over our pictures, right? Right. And I’m sharing them with you so maybe you will decide to take a cruise too. They’re so fun, and you can drink all you want without worrying about driving or getting home later on! That alone would probably convince some people – haha. Our cruise went to Haiti, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, St. Kitts and Antigua. These pictures are only a few from Haiti and Puerto Rico. Charlie isn’t in any of these because he was taking all these pictures, just in case you’re wondering lol.
Ok, I’ll start sharing our pictures now. This is a very picture heavy post – just a warning!
First day in the ocean. We woke up to only views of water and I loved it.
I am in love with this.
Pools and jacuzzi view.
Our room was on the 8th floor. My lucky number! I knew when our room was booked a year in advance it would be the best vacation ever just because I love the number 8. And I was right!
Just wandering the ship while in the middle of the ocean. No big deal.
View of Labadee, Haiti from our balcony at about 8am. One of the only times in life I was beyond excited to wake up early.
So amazing. Take me back now!!
Labadee, Haiti. Beautiful place. Can’t wait to go back.
The ship we were on is on the right. Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas.
Charlie taking a picture of me taking a picture.
At this time I was probably thinking, “YES, NO DISGUSTING NY WEATHER FOR ALMOST 2 FULL WEEKS!” Also, good thing I had a bikini on since my dress was basically falling down. Gotta love not noticing that stuff.
I love this picture. Charlie took it while I was walking around the water and admiring the amazing view.
View of Puerto Rico from our balcony in the morning.
View of Puerto Rico from our balcony at night.
This one may look familiar to you…if not, scroll up to the top of our blog and look to the right lol. Pretty sure I made Charlie take this picture after we got off the ship in St. Kitts. Workers stand out there with props and take pictures, so obviously we had to do one!
This one is on our “About Us” page, but I still love it so you’re seeing it again. My hair looks kind of red in this, but It’s really more blonde. I blame the camera flash. This was taken before another formal dinner. Every formal dinner the photographers on board set up different areas to take pictures of you dressed up and posing and try to sell them in the photo gallery for the remainder of the cruise. And yes, the pictures are about 1 million dollars each. Or $20, but still…$20 for a picture?! Cray cray.
Ok, I’m done. If you guys love these and want to see more I’d be more than happy to add some!
