We’ve been trying to figure out what colors we want to paint the living room, dining room and upstairs loft. Oh, and the kitchen. It seems like we’ve painted soooo many rooms already (because we HAVE), yet there’s still more to go lol. It’s a never ending cycle.
Since Charlie likes to work from the upstairs loft, it’s probably better to let him pick a color for there and I’ll stick to picking the downstairs colors 🙂
Although, when he first told me he wanted to do a dark green in the loft my first thought was BLAH. Really, dark green? I don’t have anything against dark green, but I just don’t think I would ever see myself loving that color up there, especially with the leather couches we have. So after doing some picture research of dark greens, I finally thought, OMG what about navy blue? And now we’re stuck on the navy blue idea. I’ve looked up some examples of navy blue rooms with white trim and I’ve fallen in love with the blue/white combo. Take a look at some examples I found:

I’m really, really liking the idea.
Here’s a few pictures of the loft when we first moved in:
Aww, look how empty it looks! Wait until you see it now lol.
What are your thoughts about navy blue walls? I think I’m going to use a virtual room painter this weekend and show you all the pictures of what it would look like before we actually buy any paint.
Happy Friday!
