Can we talk about the website Minted for a minute? And how once you look at their website you’ll be sucked in for at least 30 minutes and completely lose track of time and what you were even doing before you went on their website? It’s that good. So many talented artists on there and I instantly fell in love with the site. I found Minted a few months ago browsing through bridal magazines. I checked them out and even wrote the site down for future wedding sites to go back to. For what you may ask? Invitations! Announcements! Save the dates! They have it all! And now you may be thinking, wait, aren’t you a designer? Can’t you just design your own? Well, yes I am! I could definitely design my own! Only thing is, you don’t realize how much planning goes into a wedding until you start doing it yourself. Charlie and I haven’t even started planning, we’ve really just browsed ideas because the idea of starting the planning is scaring us lol. I am so picky when it comes to designing things for myself and my business (logos, business cards, etc…), I can’t imagine how perfect I will want our wedding invitations to look, so I have been thinking of using Minted for them! For those bride’s who are looking for less personalization than what we offer at Riss Design on Etsy, there is minted. You can choose from a huge selection of wedding invitations designed by independent artists (like myself!) and personalize the wording to suit your needs. It’s so fun to go on Minted and find so many ideas of what you’re looking for. The hardest part is choosing!
Here are some of my favorite wedding invitations that I’ve seen (we’re thinking of having a destination beach wedding, so some of these nautical ones are so fun):
Looking through these invitations, save the dates, bridal shower invitations, etc… is so fun. It’s actually making me really excited to start planning our own wedding! So if you’re looking for something fun, and just want to look through what Minted has to offer for weddings, I totally recommend checking them out. AND they have an awesome team of designers who proof your final product and will email you a proof before the final product is sent out. How awesome is that?!
If we decide to go a more modern, classical route with our invitations I also love these ones too. And how awesome is a mini book invitation? Why have I never thought of this? I may need that in my life.
To give a bit more of a description, here’s how Minted explains themselves on their site:
“Minted is the world’s premier marketplace for independent design. Our mission is to find exceptional artists and designers all over the world and bring their work to consumers who appreciate great design”.
I really like the idea of supporting other artists that are similar to myself! Minted might just be our wedding savior honestly. And they could be yours too – check them out now!
