Want to do something super sweet and special for your significant other for Valentine’s Day, but can’t spend too much money? Well, the perfect idea would be to just keep it simple and cook him an awesome dinner. I’ve never been a fan of this holiday for some reason. I just don’t really like it. Charlie and I have never gotten into the whole, let’s make reservations at a fancy restaurant 3 weeks in advance because we know it will be crowded, type of thing. We’re more of a cook at home or eat out at our favorite Mexican restaurant type of couple.
And we all know girls love to do cute DIY things and most men don’t appreciate the time and thought put into it, so we’re not going to waste our time here on a DIY heart card or something ridiculous, because let’s face it – guys don’t like that stuff! Stop denying it! So, I thought of some cool ideas your man should love.
Men love anything food related. Cook him dinner! Think about his favorite food…if he loves pizza try this:

And when you’re super full from that big dinner, put his favorite movie on and spend the night in together! Valentine’s Day does not have to always be a huge deal like most people make it. Keep it simple this year!
