So…our living room is still white. How have I not decided on a color to paint it you ask? I have no idea. I think since it’s the first room people see when walking into our house, I want it to be perfect and have a very welcoming feel to it. Our couches are darker brown, and we have some blueish/green accent items around the room. I think I’m leaning more toward a neutral light brown/tan or a greyish/blue. I found a cool website for inspiration so I thought I would share. And if anyone has any suggestions I’m all ears 🙂
I found this cool site called Design Seeds that gives great color palettes for specific times of year and places. I chose the sea as my inspiration and it took me to this page full of suggestions.
In this first image I like the second color down…but it may have a little too much pink in there for us.
I am LOVING this color palette. I love the first and third colors. I like the hint of green in the first color and I think that khaki brown is the perfect shade and would look great with the couches.
The second color in on this palette is amaze. That’s the perfect blue/green shade.
I really like the second and third colors in this palette. They may be too blue though.
So there you go. A cool new site to find colors that go with a certain theme for a room. I am still stuck between colors, but at least I have a better idea now of what I’d like to go with. Again, I’d love to know your suggestions!
Come back tomorrow for HOUSE PROGRESS UPDATES. Yay!
