We found a picture at Home Goods that was cool…but the matted frame was even cooler and was what caught my attention to being with. I like the picture and the font used in it, but I wasn’t feeling the quote so much. BUT it was on sale for $8! We couldn’t pass that up. And I thought of an awesome idea – we got a watercolor photo in St Maarten and hadn’t framed it yet and it was the perfect size for this frame!
Here’s the original photo. It was actually kind of hard to remove from the frame, but I was determined. I did save this picture to use in the future, I didn’t ruin it don’t worry.
And here’s the finished result! I put it on the fireplace mantel for the time being and it looks great. Although, I couldn’t get a good picture because I was getting glare from the window. I moved it to the bench to take a better picture. I LOVE IT. Ahhmazing. It’s like this frame was made for this watercolor! Lol.
This was pretty easy to do. If you ever see a cheap framed photo somewhere and love the frame but not the picture, remember you can always replace the photo like I did! Sometimes it’s a lot easier than searching for a regular frame for your picture.
