Happy Holidays everyone! I made a fun little project over the weekend when I was sick and stuck at home (ugh!) that I have been dying to share because they are too cute! Can you spot them in this next picture of our tree? I am totally loving our tree this year! I love the shape, height, ornaments, and especially how we did the ribbon going vertically down the tree instead of wrapping it around! I’ve never tried that before and am totally living for it.
How adorable are these wooden block Christmas presents?! I saw something similar on Pinterest so I wanted to put my own twist on it and share!
This project is so hard you guys, so you better pay attention. You need however many blocks of (sanded) wood you want to use, paint and ribbon. That’s it. Yes, I was being sarcastic because this is actually so easy it took me about 30 minutes and that’s only because I had to wait for the paint to dry. Sorry for these next two horrendous pictures, they were taken at night. But this was my wood…
Here is the wood painted, and sanded a little more all around to give it a worn vintage look…
I didn’t take any pictures of me wrapping them in ribbon because it honestly only took a minute and it’s kind of self explanatory. Just wrap them however you’d like, like how you’d wrap a normal present with ribbon. I added in some tulle to make them pop even more and they turned out so adorable.
I even tricked Charlie when I was done and told him he had three presents under the tree. He honestly thought they were real until he remembered what I was working on lol.
How adorable are these under the tree?! I want to make bigger ones next year! Hope you guys like this project and want to try it out for yourself!
