I’ve been looking for something perfect to hang above the fireplace in our living room. I haven’t found anything I like, so of course I decided to just make something myself! I had some extra canvases from a painting class I took in college, so I painted one with myMartha Stewart Vintage Decor Paint. I am officially obsessed with this stuff! It dries really quick too.
Since the grey was a bit dark, pencil wouldn’t show up, so I used a piece of chalk to sketch out the wording I was going to paint on the canvas (trust me, free handing this would not have been pretty).
I did 2 coats of the white paint, and this was the result…
I love it! I think everyone needs an “Every little thing is gonna be alright” picture in their house. It’s an instant mood lifter!
