I wanted to make stir fry for dinner this week. I was craving it really bad for some reason, and I knew we had chicken, peppers and tomatoes in the fridge that needed to be used up, so it was perfect. I wanted to make a stir fry sauce from scratch, but that wasn’t going to happen since I was busy all day and didn’t start cooking until kind of late, so teriyaki sauce would have to do. But that was ok, because my mom got us this sauce and I’ve been wanting to try it out – and it was delish!
Here’s the sauce:
For the veggies we used 2 red peppers, 3 tomatoes and snow peas.
Wash and cut the veggies. I like to cut both ends off the snow peas.
We cook the chicken in a separate skillet first, and put the veggies altogether in a wok. When the chicken is cooked, add it to the veggies and let cook on medium. Then add in the teriyaki sauce, or your homemade sauce.
Serve over rice and enjoy! So good!
