I’ve been looking for new recipes to try out for dinners that are easy and cheap, and I came across one for french bread pizza. It looked delish so we decided to try it out.
What you’ll need:
– We used a small loaf of french bread, it was about 5 inches long
– Tomato Sauce
– Mozzarella
– Any toppings you want
We pre-heated the oven to 350 degrees, then put the pizzas in for 15 minutes. They came out PERFECT. Just let them cool for about 5 minutes..we learned that the hard way.
We used Don Pepino pizza sauce. It’s really good sauce!
We love lots of sauce so I loaded it up:
Lots of mozz 🙂
A tiny dash of salt, a few dashes of pepper and some garlic powder = yummerz
And 15 minutes later…voila! Delish french bread pizza!
Total:
Bag of mozzarella cheese: $2.80
French bread: $1.50
Pizza sauce: $1.50
= $5.80!
