Is the title of this project a mouth full or what?! But that’s exactly what it is: you can change these NO SEW pillow cases and make different ones for every season! Today I’m going to show you how I made super easy Fall and Christmas pillow cases.
Here’s everything I used for these pillow cases. The pillow itself was about 16″x12″ big, and I ended up using fabric samples from JoAnn’s. Let me just say, the white fabric samples are super thin, so double up. I used a piece of light blue fabric I had to double up, but using the same color would probably be better lol. And what makes this no sew you ask? This crazy invention called Heat N Bond! I saw this at JoAnn’s and thought it was AWESOME! You place it between the fabric, and iron over it. It melts and adheres to the fabric, “sewing” it together. It works really nicely!
And for that final side of the pillow to make it changeable, you’ll want something like this velcro for fabric. This stuff works, but honestly it peels off if tugged at. Just be careful with it, and you shouldn’t have any problems.
First things first: measure your pillow, and then measure and cut your fabric. You’ll want your fabric a bit bigger on each side to leave room for the pillow once it’s all “sewn” together. My pillow was 16″x12″, and I used 18″x21″ fabric. It worked perfectly! So when you place the Heat N Bond on the fabric, make sure your pillow is inside out (graphic on inside), because you’ll be flipped the pillow out once you’ve ironed everything together.
See what I mean? The graphic I have on my pillow is inside, so it will be on the outside once flipped. 
Iron, iron, iron it all together following the Heat N Bond instructions…
Once the Heat N Bond is applied and cooled, flip it right side out! You’ll have your third side left open where the pillow will be stuffed in. This is where you’ll want the place the velcro…
I kind of tucked the sides in when doing the velcro to make it look more put together, but here it is!
And with the pillow inside…
That’s all there is to it! Here’s the pillow all done…
I followed the same steps above to create a Christmas themed one too!
How adorable is this Christmas tree fabric from JoAnn’s? And if you’re wondering, I created these graphics for the pillows myself, and used my Cricut to cut HTV and put them on the fabric!

These actually turned out better than I thought they would! I had a few hiccups here and there, but I learned from my mistakes all to show you guys that this can be done and it’s pretty simple once you get the hang of it! The possibilities are endless. You can create changeable pillow covers for pillows of all sizes, every holiday, every month…you get the picture 🙂
