For part of our Mother’s Day presents to my mom and Charlie’s Mom, we bought a couple large mason jars and some Martha Stewart acrylic paint. I painted the vases about 3 coats of the satin paint and then used the pearl paint to do 2 strips on the bottom and top of the jars. We wanted to do something creative for a flower vase instead of…a boring flower vase lol.
Any shades of the paint will work. I got 2 blue shades. I LOVE this paint, I’ll definitely be going back for more.

Here’s the jar after one coat of the paint. Now you see why it needed 3-4 coats lol.
When I did the stripes shown below, I literally took rubber bands, wrapped them around the jar to make a straight line all the way around, and painted the stripes. It worked perfectly!
