Guys! It’s Christmas Eve Eve today! And I have ONE last final easy, free, quick DIY for you! Forgot one person on your list? Need one more easy project with things you probably already have at home? And that person happens to love wine? PERFECT gift for you then! I also apologize in advance for the quality of these pictures. I randomly decided to do these at night and the lighting sucked. But I still wanted to get this up!
The easiest ornament DIY ever: grapes made from wine corks! Here’s what I did:
Place the corks how you’ll like them to look, and then hot glue them together like I did below…
I grabbed some fake flowers I had lying around used wire cutters to cut the leaves off a couple stems for the grape leaves. I glued the leaves onto the top of the corks, and added a ribbon around them to hang on the tree…
Now for the fun part! I wanted corks to looked stained rather than have a layer of paint, so I used watercolors. If you’d rather use acrylic paint it would work just as good! I used these little sponge dabbers by Martha Stewart to dot on the watercolor, I also used a paint brush to add a second layer. A paint brush works just as good to do this.
I did the same with green and voila! There you have it!
I’m not kidding, this was a 15 minute project. So if you need to get a present done ASAP, this is for you!
Like this project and want to save it for later? Yay! Pin the image below 🙂
