Let me start out by saying these are AWESOME. If you’ve ever had a crunch wrap supreme from Taco Bell or a wrong doug from Moe’s you’ll love this even more. Especially since you can choose what to put in it!
Here’s a step by step of what we did:
First we cooked up some taco meat using an Old El Paso seasoning packet. Once the meat was ready we started to build! We warmed up the tortillas and laid them flat (we got the biggest ones we could find at the store by the way)…We added queso cheese as the first layer, then the meat. We then added a tostada, which is just a flat taco shell (this adds the crunch and makes it so much better. Don’t skip!) Then added some sour cream, cheese, tomatoes and jalapenos. Some Sriracha on top would make this off the charts.
Fold up your tortilla like so…
Add to skillet…Charlie has this cast iron weight he likes to add but it’s obviously not completey needed. Just cooks it a bit better and quicker.
Once both sides are a bit browned you’re all set! Cut in half and enjoy the deliciousness of this amazing crunch wrap!
We also added some rice on the side. YUM!
Enjoy!
