I really don’t know how I went without blogging about this yet, but I’m house sitting for my mom and remembered that we came up with AWESOME wedding centerpieces for her wedding last October. Her wedding was one of the best days ever, it was beautiful and unusually warm and sunny for an early Fall day, so it was just perfect! What made it even more perfect was my creative mom and her cute little details and DIY projects for her big day.
I found an idea for her wedding centerpieces online, and she took it a step further by creating her own centerpieces for each of the tables at the wedding. Here’s what she did:
There were 12 tables at the wedding, so she ordered these frosted wine bottles off Amazon…she then filled them about 1/4 of the way with sand most likely bought from Michael’s…
Stickers were put on each bottle with the table numbers on them and their names and date of their wedding…
She then topped them off with black ribbon tied at the neck of each bottle…
And here’s some shots of the centerpieces in action:
These were a hit, everyone thought they were beautiful and creative! DIY centerpieces are always great.
We also stuck 2 glow sticks into the centerpieces when it started to get dark outside, and they looked so cool!
