As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, this past weekend we went to a good friend’s wedding. It was a country style wedding and basically everything was DIY! It was so cool and so beautiful I thought I’d share some pictures we took, especially for those readers who would want a country wedding yourself, here’s some ideas! (Just a warning, this post is picture heavy)
Random picture Charlie took when we first got there, but my hair looks good so I like it 😉
View of their pond. So nice!
They made this for their card holder. Literally the coolest card holder I’ve ever seen at a wedding. It had chicken wire on the top too. Very creative!
Mason jars with fresh flowers. Meg and her family picked these a day or 2 before the wedding. All the flowers looked awesome.
Wedding favors! At first I thought it was honey, but it’s actually maple syrup. YUM. Charlie and I already tested ours out with some waffles 😉 We give it 5/5 stars.
Best dessert table ever. They had those cake pop things, except they were just the little balls. O.M.G. SO GOOD.
Seriously look how good they look. I am drooling.
I told you this was a country wedding! Everyone took pictures and sat on the tractors. They’re also huge.
Megan’s grandfather recently passed, and her and her hubby restored his tractor so they could have it as part of the wedding. Such a great idea and it really looked great.
Crappy iPhone pic warning. Here’s the tent at night all lit up. Obviously this picture doesn’t do it justice but it looked awesome in person.
Bride and Groom’s first dance! Aren’t you in love with her dress and boots? I don’t know how she managed to find the perfect dress to go with cowboy boots but she definitely did. Good job Meg!
Best friends from high school! We’ve all known each other for years and have so many fun memories together. So glad we all got to spend Meg and Jon’s special day together.
Me and my man. I really love this picture actually. I may need to print this out and hang it in the house.
Hope you liked all the pictures! I bet you’re already planning your own country style wedding now, aren’t you?
Have a safe and fun holiday weekend!
